My favourite Brazilian music: ThunderTrash

As everybody may have noticed, I mostly make music in Portuguese these days, and there is many a reason to that, but one of the reasons is that it is all I listen to. And the variety of genres within Brazil is so wide that you can never really get tired of it.
There is one genre in particular that I am very deeply in love with - funk. And it's not funk, like Stevie Wonder, Prince or James Brown, but instead Brazilian funk. Some of you aready know it, since it's seeping into worldwide music but I am gonna write a whole blogpost about the genre later.
Today I am gonna focus on one of my fav bands at the moment, ThunderTrash. I found them a few months back, and they do this really fun, innovative funk with samples from Sir Mix-A-Lot - Baby Got Back. One of their songs is called Sugar Daddy and it's stuck in my head non stop. They made the video themselves and it's just great and ice cold and deliciously cool.
After I put out my song Guaravita, I received a DM from ThunderTrash, and I am super excited to announce that we are already cooking something up. The duo consists of Danniel Zui and Pam Belli. Danniel is a super stylish DJ and singer, and you can follow him on @dannielzui. Pamela is a beautiful piercer, singer and transactivist, and you can check her out here @pambelli
